You must apply for a residence permit within 30 days of arriving in Turkey. Applications are made online at e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr. Required documents: passport, student certificate, health insurance, biometric photo, address declaration. Contact the Provincial Directorate of Migration for an appointment.

TÖMER at Artuklu University provides Turkish language education to international students. You are expected to reach Turkish proficiency level before starting your department courses. The main campus is in Artuklu district, 5 km on the Diyarbakır Road. The campus has a library, cafeteria, sports facilities, health center, and student clubs. Visit /ogrenci/kampus-harita for the campus map.

International students must have health insurance to obtain a residence permit. You can choose private insurance or general health insurance under SGK (Social Security Institution). Visit the Provincial Directorate for SGK application.

To open a Turkish Lira (TL) account, you need your passport, residence permit, and student certificate. State banks like Ziraat, Halkbank, and Vakıfbank offer student-specific accounts. ATMs are available near campus.
